Homemade Bread Crumbs

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs is ~ 1.5 pieces of bread (depending on thickness and size of loaf)

Method:

  1. Tear bread into small pieces and let dry out on a baking sheet or in a tupperware w/ the lid slightly off. It may take a few days for the bread to dry out depending on how moist the bread is.

If you would like to speed up the process, put baking sheet in oven on the lowest setting your oven will go, set a timer for ~30 min. Check and flip the bread on the baking sheet every ~15-30 min until the bread has dried out.


2. Once the bread has dried out. Put it all in a food processor and pulse until bread turns into crumb-like sizes.
